COMPLAINT/FORMALLY FILING A COMPLAINT, CONCERN OR RECOMMENDATION
PURPOSE: To provide a process in which the Patient, Family Member or Community Member may file a formal complaint involving the hospital or Beardmore Health Centre.
The following process should be followed to have the concern investigated;
1. Discuss the issue with a staff member.
2. Put your unresolved issue in written form to the attention of the following Department Heads/Supervisor;
Chief Executive Officer - issues involving administration, physiotherapy, laboratory and radiology
Director of Patient Care Services - issues involving nursing, patient care and Beardmore Health Centre
Chief of Staff - issues involving Medical Staff
Director of Environment Services - issues involving Housekeeping, Dietary, Laundry, Maintenance and Health Records
3. Next Step - If your issue is unresolved submit your complaint in writing to:
