Appointment only service is provided at the Nipigon District Memorial Hospital. If your healthcare provider gave you a requisition for your x-ray or ultrasound, please call the department and bring the requisition to your appointment. Otherwise, the Diagnostic Imaging department will contact you to schedule your appointment. You will receive all of the information that you need to prepare for your appointment.

Should you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please call the department.

The Lab is open to outpatients for blood/specimen collection on a walk-in basis. In some cases, a physician will order a blood test that is not covered by OHIP, and/or that must be sent from for processing. Check with your physician about blood testing not covered by OHIP. Any tests not covered by OHIP will be billed to you through the mail by Lifelabs. The ordering Physician must have ordering privileges to get your bloodwork completed at NDMH.

Physiotherapy services are provided to outpatients by physician referral. The Physiotherapist will contact you to arrange for an appointment.
