TESTIMONIAL
I chose to work and live full time in Nipigon after coming as a locum to test the waters. The location of the community was exactly what I felt that my family needed, a rural and tight knit community but only an hour from the city of Thunder Bay. The staff at the hospital and clinic were so welcoming and enjoyable to work with, I now consider many of them close friends after only a couple of years being here.
The physician group felt well established with a mix of doctors that had spent most of their career here as well as newer grads. The Hospital team and Family Health Team have both been open to new ideas and actually take action, in a small group you feel like your voice is actually being heard. Anytime I've had an idea for change or request for new equipment it is taken seriously and acted on.
We really do feel lucky to have the group that we have here in Nipigon to work with!
