Accountability agreements
The Local Health System Integration Act, 2006
Local Health Integration Networks are responsible for local health system planning and community engagement. As of April 1, 2007, the LHINs have also assumed responsibility for funding a wide range of health service providers and for managing the majority of service agreements with health service providers. Hospital Service Accountability Agreements outline the responsibilities of the LHIN and its local hospitals.

The Broader Public Sector Accountability Act, 2010
Introduced on October 20, 2010 and received Royal Assent on December 8, 2010. This Act establishes new rules and higher accountability standards for hospitals, Local Health Integration Networks, and broader public sector organizations.

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996
...requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to disclose annually the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in a calendar year.
