Diagnostic Imaging staff will do their best to accommodate outpatients on a first come, first served basis. Procedures that must have an appointment require preparation by the patient prior to the appointment.

The release of information and privacy issues can be discussed with the Health Records staff.

Outpatient Hours - Monday to Friday, 8 am to 2:30 pm, appointments are not required.
The Hospital's Lab Department is open to outpatients for blood/specimen collection within these hours. In some cases, a physician will order a blood test that is not covered by OHIP, and/or that must be sent from Nipigon Hospital for processing. In these cases, the patient is responsible to pay for the procedure at the Business Office prior to having their blood drawn. Check with your physician about blood testing not covered by OHIP.

Physiotherapy services are provided to outpatients by physician referral. The Physiotherapist will contact you to arrange for an appointment.

The Telehealth Clinic is open for appointments via the Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN). If you require further information about a scheduled Telehealth appointment, or wish more information about this service, please contact the Telehealth Coordinator.
